Herman Cai
Director
Herman has 13 years of solid experience across the water value chain in Asia. He began his career with Joneson Chemicals and moved shortly thereafter to EcoWater Systems (part of Berkshire Hathaway’s Marmon Group) as Country Manager for South East Asia. At Ecowater, he developed industrial water and wastewater treatment solutions for clients in the petrochemical and power generation sectors.
In 2000, Herman joined Veolia Water as Project Director for China Business where he focused on developing, executing and managing Veolia’s full service water concessions and, industrial and municipal water/wastewater treatment projects. He successfully concluded investments in excess of $250m and his key projects include the 30-year Kunming and Changle full service water concessions, the Zhuhai Wastewater BOT Project and the Zunyi Water Treatment TOT/BOT Project. Herman earned his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from University of South Australia and post-graduate diploma in Marketing from Chinese University of Hong Kong. |
