Nicholas de Mestre
Investment Director
Prior to joining FourWinds in 2008, Nick was an Associate in the UK Coverage team at Merrill Lynch in London where he worked on a wide variety of transactions including Terra Firma’s £1.4bn sale of Waste Recycling Group’s landfill assets to FCC in 2006 and, more recently, GIP and Montagu’s £1.6 billion acquisition of Biffa plc in early 2008. Prior to joining ML he worked in the corporate team at Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy in London, advising on a broad range of M&A, restructuring and debt financing transactions. Nick has a BA (Jurisprudence) from the University of Oxford. |
